Why I have no choice but to be massively wealthy, and I recommend the same for because if you don’t NOW, you could be in for rude awakening.

There’s a NEW economy taking place and I hope you’re not blind to what is really currently happening. First off forget the hopes and dreams of having a secured job and waiting until that glorious day to retire off your company’s pension plan. The old idea of that 1920 to 2000 era is pretty much seeking an end if you ask me.

Once upon a time, you could go to college to earn a degree and seek a job that would pay you any where from $35k to $85k a year. Maybe you were the one that went to college and invested a little more into your education, and you positioned yourself to earn above 100k or more a year.

My opinion is those days are over and times have changed.  They say now that by the time you start college and finish college everything you’ve learned from your degree is already outdated. Besides the core basics in college such as English and Math, you must start thinking a little differently towards increasing your value in the market place such as self-education if you’re really going to make it these days.

This is my opinion :

Back in the day one could finish college, get a job and - as long as they played by the rules and didn’t make too many mistakes - one could retire around age 60 to 65 and live the rest of their lives in peace. Once again this is the old economy.

I’ve now seen corporate America outsourcing to others countries because they can cut costs. I’ve seen companies taking away employee benefits. I’ve watched people’s retirement 401k plans go to nothing. My friend’s mom has worked for the same company for years. After the recent economy down turn her 401k is now about 30k which is a major hit.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t see how one can retire with only 30k in a retirement account. How can someone ever break free at retirement and enjoy their last days on earth with a retirement of 30k in a 401k?

Back in the day, a company would take care of their people.  Justice and hard work would prevail – GOING both ways!

That was the old days. Actually that was about a generation ago.

On the other side of things, many people think that building a business is the way to financial freedom. Did you know that 95% of all business owners make less than 50k a year?

What’s my point here?

 My point is as a society we must be able to recreate the way we do things and earn money. We have to become self-educated in a way that requires not only a lot of self-work but also self-focus. We must become financially educated in a way that shows us how to create our own economy and create wealth. If the schooling system taught this and prepared us more we wouldn’t have people in America wondering how they can retire. We also wouldn’t have 95% of all business owners making less than 50k a year.

It’s time for a change and the change starts with us.   We can no longer wait or hope for our employers to take care of us. We can no longer think that a college degree is our cure to a safe and secure life.
