Over this past weekend the late great Jim Rohn passed away. He lived a life of extraordinary passion and desire to assist others in their dreams and passions to be great. Many of you know that some of the greatest minds studied under the mind of Jim Rohn. In fact, I’m sure you’re all aware that Tony Robbins was once mentoring and selling Jim Rohn products. Jim Rohn lives and displayed a life you’ll want your kids to study and their kids to also study

 

Two years ago I had the privilege to body guard for Jim Rohn in Dallas Tx, - his final event speaking live. I would walk him back and forth to his room and I would make sure nobody ran him over attempting to take a picture with him. He was so famous in the personal development industry that people would mob to take a picture with him as if he was a famous rock star. Maybe he was in many people’s minds because the words that came from his mouth would move people just as the words in the songs you listen to by the Rolling Stones or your favorite band.

 

I was sitting in the green room with Jim Rohn minutes before he went on stage. He was sitting there with a cloth in his hands as he was sneezing every so often. You could see that although he was a little sick he knew in his deepest heart that he needed to go spread his words and wisdom to others to help them live the life that they deserve.

 

Jim Rohn and I were having small talk before he went on stage. He would laugh and joke about the times he had lost his fortune. He had told me that sometimes the greatest people lost it all as a test to see if they were great enough to regain it again. He said that legends and people that will always be remembered have the true gift to touch and inspire people with their ability to lose and rise to greatness, yet look it those times as lessons and not self failures.

 

 

Jim was actually giving me advice on things that I was going through at times in my life.

 

Jim Rohn in my mind was one of the greatest thinkers to ever walk this planet. When I listened to him talk it was like listening to a mother talk to her child in the crib. The words and rise and reflection of his voice had such a way of penetrating your body. His words and lectures would stick with you in such a way that they would get you to take action faster in your own life than from other words of wisdom.

 

As you are building your business and touching and making a difference in other peoples’ lives I feel you should question yourself. If a man like Jim Rohn had the ability to touch, create, and inspire so many people like the way he did I ask you why is it that we can’t carry on his words and his ACTIONS and do the same?

 

Jim Rohn is a legend. Let’s together pass his words and his life of greatness down to generations and see that they hold true in your life. You start questioning yourself, just as I will question myself. What are we truly capable of achieving? I know that Jim Rohn was capable of achieving so much in times that had less resources than we have today. Let’s live with passion for the rest of our lives in tribute to Jim Rohn and the way he lived his life.
