 Here Is the Formula To Not Feeling Overwhelmed and Achieving More In Life

Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed that at the end of the day you feel completely exhausted and worn out? Maybe your days are filled with complete clutter and distractions and it always feels like you could be getting more done.

 

There use to not be a day that went by that I didn’t feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted. Even worse, I would go to sleep at night feeling like I never really achieved much.  It always seemed I made myself feel extremely bust at the end of the day.

 

About six months ago I started spending a couple hours a week of study and another hour a day implementing methods and practices to become more productive. What I’m going to share with you today is a few different tricks and methods I’ve learned that have really assisted me on my journey to having more fun and getting more done.

 

I’ll give credit where credit is due. I’ve learned 97% of this material from a mentor named Eben Pagan and I’ve learned another 3% from gentlemen Andrew Cass. Both of these men are extremely high achievers and have spent thousands of dollars and time into this subject. I’ve done the same.

 

If you’ve ever wanted the real secret of the highly successful… THIS IS IT.

 

I would first suggest that you need to forget about what people call time management. There’s no such thing as the ability to control time. I know as well as you know that there are 24 hours in a day and there are 7 days in a week. I also understand when it’s 6pm MST at night here it’s about 6am in the morning somewhere across the world. Time is something somebody made up. As humans we don’t have the ability to control it.

 

Understanding what you CAN control is managing yourself in time. Learn to manage yourself and the details take care of themselves. 

 

Andrew Cass taught me that learning to manage mental and physical energy will allow me to get 3 to 4 times the amount of things done in a day. I’m not sure if you’re aware or not, but I purposely take pretty good care of myself. I don’t do this to look good. I do this because I’m taking care of myself so I have more energy to sustain my life style which provides me more mental energy. I recommend learning more about this area in your life.

 

From the highly achieved whom I’ve witnessed and studied I noticed that they always take care of themselves first. I think many times people and especially mothers put others ahead of their needs.  I feel that people neglect their own health and well being. The other day my sister told me she forgets to eat sometimes because she is taking care of her kid. I suggested that this is very unhealthy and one must learn to take care of themselves first.

 

When you are in an airplane they tell you to put your oxygen mask on first in case of an accident. They do this because you can’t assist someone else if you’ve not taken care of yourself first. 

 

I wake up an hour early everyday and that hour is completely dedicated to taking care of me. I suggest you find the time to take care of yourself.

 

I’ll now list of a couple methods I’ve learned from Andrew and Eben. Remember this is a basic understanding. To really get this subject it would take much more time. This will help you become aware though.

 

Multi-tasking is bad – In fact research shows that people are actually smarter when smoking marijuana then they are when multi-tasking. People wear Multi-tasking on their shoulder as if they’re really proud of it.. I suggest you stop.

Overwhelmed feeling – We live in a fast moving information society. Being overwhelmed is here to stay. Learn to mange this area. Stop complaining that you’re overwhelmed and understand the opposite of overwhelmed is underwhelmed. How you view being overwhelmed will determine how you handle it. Learn to schedule certain tasks during your day and week.  This way you’ll learn to manage this area a little better.

Distraction – Simply ask yourself if what I’m currently doing is a high yield, producing activity 

Environment – Learn to set your area around you so it supports your goals. You’ll also want to be aware of the people you’re spending must of your time around.

There’s a lot more on this subject but I hope I’ve assisted you on becoming a little more aware of your time and what you’re doing. This is a subject I continue studying every day.  It’s still a challenge but I’ll tell you if you want to learn to increase you wealth, both internal and external, you’ll want to learn this subject.
