My Video Marketing SUCKS… Why Your Video Marketing May SUCK!

So here I am looking at all these YouTube videos. Many are great.  In my opinion many are not. Here’s the thing. . . I’ve done over 100 videos and I’ve had up to 10k views on some of my videos. I deleted them all!

Why you may ask? Because they were all missing the CODE just like I feel many others are missing the code. Now! Does this mean you need to go out and delete all your videos like I did? NO I’m just a weirdo CRAZY ass United States Marine that has a little bit of a mindset of if it’s not how I want it I’ll redo the whole thing. : )

You can even look at the account if you want. I think it’s sergeantmajorfreed on YouTube. You’d see that there was once lots of video there by the amount of subscribers and other things. They’re just a foot trail.

So here’s my wildest discovery into the mind of a serial video marketing nut… ME.

First off, what’s with all the hype and money crap that is out there? People, people, we deserve to STOP the nonsense with all the money weirdo talk. Stop leading with money and start creating value for people.

I can promise the people out there saying things like  – GET IN FAST – YOU”LL Make gobs of cash – JOIN ME SO WE CAN MAKE MONEY. I promise these people have never made over $500.00 in their home businesses. (If you have send me proof and prove me wrong.)

Second, when people view your marketing video they are automatically labeling YOU and labeling the environment you’re in. So the first thing you must do in all your videos in order to really connect with people is SET THE TONE AND ENVIRONMENT in your videos.

It’s about the ability to talk and demonstrate character without saying it’s character. You must be willing to lay lots on the line in your videos. What I mean by this is telling people and revealing your insecurities.

Most people all sinners, so they secretly like people revealing their deepest mistakes and uncovering their biggest fears. People are attracted to this kind of stuff. It’s why we all secretly like to watch the news when our favorite celebrity screws up and makes mistakes because it reveals their true SELF. People like to know that other people are just as normal as them.

It validates the things they’ve done in their lives, which in return makes them feel good.

Yet the key is also revealing your benevolence which is your desire to do good for others…

Stay with me. I hope this make sense. I’m not the most educated person you’ll ever meet, but I’m full of piss and vinegar and I love helping other people succeed. The crazy thing is that what I’m revealing to you is true. You can trust me or not. YOU decide

This will increase your conversions quickly in your videos.

By doing these little things you are no longer a SALES PERSON ---- You’re no longer a marketer.

So it would kind of sound like this.

First set the environment in your video. This way you break people’s resistance towards you and they have nothing to label you by or your environment.

Yes, yes, yes, I’m Brian Z the Z-Man from Denver Colorado. Yep I look like I’m 12 years old yet I’m damn near 30. I’m muscle bound as all heck and I spent several years in the Marines.  I’ve traveled the world a couple different times. I have an amazing girl friend that thinks I’m extremely nuts and weird for making these videos, but she loves me a ton. She just doesn’t understand. I sit at home creating value for other on the internet, which I’m going to do for you in a minute, but you first need to understand. I’m not the most educated person in the world, yet I’m hungry and strive to create a better life for me and my future wife and kids. It’s why I bought a guy a meal the other day for no reason at the hamburger joint just because he smiled at me. BOY DID HE FEEL GOOD.

So how would you like to learn the 3 tip … blah blah blah

So what I did was I set the environment and the tone of the video. I said things about myself that would no longer allow people to label me because I’ve already told them it’s true and I’m aware of it.

I said that I look like I’m 12 but I’m not. I said, “Look at me, I’m not that educated and I’m doing this, so can you.” I said, yes my girl friend and/or wife thinks it’s weird that I’m doing these video also, but she just doesn’t understand is all, yet she loves me.

I also said, I bought a guy a meal the other day that I didn’t even know.

What I just did is to set the environment for the video and gave people reason to trust and like me. I’m no longer a sales person in there eyes, and I’m no longer a marketer. They just want to listen to my video.

Ok, I’m done talking about this. NO CONCLUSION today. I have a flight to catch. I hope you understand this and I hope you can apply this to assist with your efforts.

P.S. the next key is just learning how to flow with all this and be able to create massive value in your video.

Tip to remember: When you make your videos, you don’t have to be upfront with revealing your personality. Once you get good, you’ll be able to set it throughout your videos. It’s kind of like a thesis statement in school. The thesis never had to be in the opening body paragraph. It could be somewhere in another paragraph. You just needed to understand how to structure it.
